NZCB Charity Boxing Event 2018


The NZCB are running their sixth charity boxing event, this years charity recipient is St John Kerikeri who will use the funds raised to further their paramedics training.  We would like to thank our boxers, many who have never stepped into a boxing ring before, let alone their friends and families.  We would also like to thank the generosity and support from the local businesses and volunteers who have made this event possible.

Top Energy Far North Science and Technology Fair


Year 7-13 students from thirteen schools, from Kaitaia to Russell, will participate in the “Top Energy Far North Science and Technology Fair”. There will be about 160 projects on display competing for prizes, including from our main sponsor, Top Energy. All involved are looking for innovation and enthusiasm in our young people in the exploration of science and technology in the Far North.

DDF Dance Studio – End of Term Showcase

Our show is a great show for the whole family to enjoy, great music, family friendly, and dancing from all ages of local talented children. Music; No diggity, Hair (from the Trolls movie), Usher, Plug Walk and so much more. DDF Dance recently went to World Supremacy Battle Grounds in Hamilton and qualified 5 entries to compete in Australia and represent NZ Kerikeri, this dance competition is one of the biggest dance competitions in the southern hemisphere.

Miss Far North 2018

This competition is an event of Style and Glamour where young women from Whangarei and north to Cape Reinga, are empowered to bring a new meaning to the Beauty Pageant and an opportunity that doesn’t often come along for them living so far away from main cities.

Aroha Music Society Presents – Cheryl Grice

Cheryl studied privately with John Williams in London and was widely acclaimed for her exquisite and delicate performances of Spanish music including appearances with Julian Bream.
Cheryl toured as a soloist for many years until in 1997 Cheryl emigrated to NZ with her young family, releasing 3 CD’s – her solo album ‘Un Sueno en la Floresta’ is also available on iTunes. In 2014 she returned to the International stage giving a highly acclaimed tour of Canada and the UK.

Kerikeri Theatre Company – Summer Shakespeare Auditions
