Stage Door Gala

The Stage Door Theatre Company is holding a fundraiser Gala at the Turner Centre and Oakridge Retirement village grounds.

• It is going to be a mammoth event with stalls selling lots of goodies from cakes, jams, children’s clothes, old books and CDs/DVDs.
• Come and guess the number of lollies in the jar.
• Sign up to be a member of Stage Door opening up the world of acting, singing and dancing. Or if you don’t want to be on stage we need plenty of help backstage, making costumes and helping make scenery.
• There will be raffles and great prizes.
• Refreshments will be available at the New World Theatre Bar in the Turner Centre. So come in and have a coffee / tea / local wine / beer / soft drink!

Funds raised will go towards the performing arts school we are planning for later in the year. Through this we hope to teach young people to act, sing and dance and get used to being on stage.
