Art exhibitions
The exhibits run through December and January and can be viewed from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. The art in the Theatre Bar is subject to availability of the Theatre Bar. Please call in to make a booking to view this exhibition. The art can also be viewed during Theatre events.
Note: the Turner Centre will be closing for a Christmas Break from 23 December 2019 – 3 January 2020.
Kerikeri Permanent Collection
The Kerikeri Permanent Collection is on show in the New World Theatre Bar. This large & diverse collection is held in trust for the community.

On the bottom ramp there is an exhibition of some of Arica’s Acrylic Fluid Paintings, or Acrylic Pour Art – a unique method of painting with acrylic paints mixed with various mediums to increase their viscosity. Basically, the paints become wetter and more fluid than ordinary acrylic paints, without losing their color intensity. The paint can be poured and manipulated in various ways to create all sorts of different effects!
