Songwriters in the Round
Join us at the Turner Centre for a very special evening of “Songwriters in the Round”. This unique event is a behind-the-music concert featuring four internationally renowned singer songwriters, each now living in Northland.
Our line-up includes John Oszajca, Dusty Burnell and the Turner Centre’s very own, Merv Pinny and Gerry Paul.
Each singer songwriter on the bill has released multiple albums, worked with top names in the music industry, and performed across the globe.
In the tradition of Nashville’s famous Bluebird Café, this will be an intimate evening in which each singer songwriter will share some of their most beloved songs and the stories behind them.
The wonderful folks at “By Di Zine Catering” have prepared a special menu for the night:
• Crispy Asian Chicken Wings with chips and dipping sauce
• Pulled Pork or Mexican Bean Ragu Nachos, served with cheese, sour cream, sweet chilli and jalapeno
• Smoked Salmon Rosti. Potato and Kumara rosti, topped with smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers
• Fries served with Aioli and Tomato Sauce
